Special Mesh

Specialised machinery is used to produce weldmesh with non-standard aperture sizes. Customised mesh is available on request according to specifications provided. Customers and design engineers should contact RSC STEELFORCE before embarking on the design of such mesh. Common apertures are 50×50 and 25×25 with a 3mm bar. In 6mx1.2m or 2.4mx1.2m sheets

Diamond Mesh

Diamond mesh is a popular fencing product used for enclosures, and areas that need to be cordoned off for safety. This mesh is available in 2mm galvanised wire with standard aperture size of 75×75 and in heights of 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m in 30m rolls.

Field fence is a great option for enclosures in both commercial and domestic use. Field fencing is most often used in agricultural settings. The aperture height changes from the top of the fence where it is larger to the bottom where it is smaller. Field fence made using straining wire that assists greatly in installation not needing high strain wire for strand support. Field fence is available in standard sizes.

• Shape code 20 – Your essential “straight” bar used in floors, columns, beams, and slabs.
• Shape code 37 – A standard bend used in column footings and edges.
• Shape code 38 – Commonly known as a “u-bar” for the distinct shape and used in isolated footings, slabs, and very short beams.
• Shape code 39 – A straight bar that hooks at one end similarly to an umbrella handle and used in beams and slabs.
• Shape code 41 – Sometimes referred to as a “kink bar” as it helps lap bars and structural elements.
• Shape code 60 – Also known as “links” is usually mild steel that helps to hold bars in place. Used in beams and columns.
• Shape code 72 – Being able to hold more layers this shape is often used as a link or stirrup, particularly in beams.
• Shape code 83 – This shape is used in foundations, beams, and slabs.
• Shape code 86 – This is the spiral shape used in circular columns.

Barbed wire is a fairly common item found where increased security is needed. A wire strand has either single or double wire lines twisted around it with knots that have sharp protrusions placed at selected intervals. The barbed wire is sold in rolls which allows the barbed wire to be used in the circulation fashion to create the best opportunity for security. Often placed at the top of walls and fences, this is an inexpensive way of increasing your perimeter security.

Iowa Barbed Wire

Produced from soft galvanized double-stranded wire that boasts a continuous twist with a four-pointed barb. Iowa barbed wire is available in lightly galvanised steel.

Drakensburg Barbed Wire

Produced from a single high strain wire with a four-pointed barb at every 150mm.

We roll standard length or cut to size (special request) roofing profiles either in IBR or corrugated. Our products are 0.3mm colour coated zinc aluminium sheeting and galvanised 0.3mm or 0.25mm roofing.
